Flash in the Shattered
Poem a day for Lent 2026, #3
The rules that extract and seek to own everyone’s dirt. Protests voice desperately the defense of history from a hijacking. Christ stands firm in uncertainty— clearly in critique of monoliths of power, centralized. We connect with a desired savior much differently than our parents’ generation, in summary. Glints from shattered glass flash the integrity of stories. The kingdom to the highest bidders. We struggle as the narratives slowly slip away.
